Sleepover and swimming

I'm all ready to go swimming. Do you think I have my hands full or what?

When we got home from the game the other night we came home to a gas leak and had to stay at Job's parent's house for a night. Porter slept for his first time in a pack-n-play. Everytime he moved it squeaked and I woke up. I put him down and a few minutes later he was like this.

The Angels

Job and I took Porter to his first Angels' game. I think he had fun with all the lights but he was so tired that everytime the crowd cheered it scared him and he started to cry. He finally fell asleep while we walked around. Job bought him his first Angels outfit (it's too big for him now, so pictures will come of him in it later). It was nice to get out as a little family.

life is good

even though there are more boxes in our home that are packed than unpacked, the dishes seem to never be done (especially since i am rewashing my dishes because they have sat in spider-infested boxes for three months), there was a gas leak in ou home last night and we had to stay at my in-laws, i can`t seem to shed these baby pounds because when i turn on my workout video my baby starts crying and it seems like each day i have to choose between a nap, a meal or a shower when my baby sleeps during the day; i can`t help but look at my husband and son and think that i have it really good. i have a family that loves me, a roof over my head, food to eat, clothes to wear, good health and the blessings of knowing the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Life is good.

We went on a picnic tonight and Porter was trying to join in on all the fun.

Job's little brother got married this last weekend and I made their cake. Here is a picture of it. There are pictures of the family and the cute couple.

Pictures of Porter

Here are some recent pictures of Porter. The first one is the morning of his aunt and uncle's wedding. I woke him up early to give him a bath and this was taken after I put lotion on him and wrapped him in his blanket. He fell asleep on our bed. These next two are flipped the wrong way but show his cute smile.

He was weighed at the doctor's office today with his clothes on and weighed 13 lbs 8 oz. He is 24.25 inches long. We love our big little boy.
