Porter has discovered playing in our backyard an adventure. The last couple of days we have been letting him play back there by himself with us doing the dishes or doing dinner. Our yard is small and you can see the whole thing from our kitchen window. We leave the sliding door open so he can go in and out of the house as he pleases. He loves it outdoors and has found new adventures in our yard. Who knew there was so much to play with back there?

What a cute little guy! And how nice to have a backyard to keep him occupied! We are staying in idaho for thanksgiving, but we'll be in Cali for two weeks during Christmas and New Years...will you guys be there? We should meet halfway and have a day!

Independence is so nice for the little ones and nice for the mom too. I guess that I should just say that I like that age! He's so cute!
