Christina and Kimberly came to visit us for a week and while they were here we went to the Cemetary with flowers for our Grandpas and Uncle Todd. We took Katie and Isaac with us and they loved to help us put the flowers on the tombstones.
We also went to Orderville for the Demolition Derby. On our way there, we decided to stay the night in Kanab at Parry Lodge Motel (in the Anne Baxter room). Since we didn't bring anything to stay over, we just picked up some toothbrushes and some toothpaste at the store. While in Kanab we stopped by to see Martyn.
I took a lot of pictures at the Demolition Derby but they weren't very good, so this are the best in motion. Actually . . . it wasn't really a demolition derby, it was more of a race, but it was still pretty good. This first picture is of a car that had to be pushed out of the track because it broke down. You can tell that we were in "Hick Town" because a tractor pushed it.
The picture above is of a car that struggled. It got hit a few times and had a hard time starting back up, so it just sat there in the middle of the races. This next picture is of the event that we left during. They took a car hood and strapped an old van seat to it. Then they put people on it and drove them around the track. Some of them flew off the back- not so smart.
