Winter Pictures

Kenny and Kim

Job and I went up to Vernal for my cousin Kenny's wedding. It was cold, but beautiful. The two of them are so adorable together. The first picture is of the ring ceremony that was done after the temple.

Back On-Line

We just got internet working again at our house so here are a bunch of pictures I have taken over the last week. This is a picture of our driveway one night while Job is shoveling it. He shoveled almost a foot of snow that night.

This is the morning after Job shoveled the foot of snow. It was all back on our driveway.

Lucy likes being out in the snow. She runs through it like a little Reindeer. Here she is just sitting at the door watching Job shovel snow and me take pictures. If only she was always this calm.

Last Friday we spent the night at the Rindlisbacher's house down in St. George. We went to their Ward party. Here is Kurt and Reagan, the only picture we have at the party. Reagan is a genius at two so our children will be tutored by her. Because of the crazy winter weather, St. George had some snow on the ground and some houses even had snowmen. This picture was taken across the street from the Temple. I believe it's a little boy, a snowman and the last Job says is a reindeer. An hour later, the snowman had fallen forward. Poor little guy doesn't stand a chance in St. George.

Simple Solution

Now a days I like simple. The simpler, the better. I would prefer good things, so I try my best to make them happen (most of the time failing). Like most of you, I like french toast. The drawback to making it though is the messy-eggy-milky-hands that come with every dip. I have found a solution: Yup, tongs. I used wooden ones, but I am sure others would work to. To avoid those yucky hands you just place the bread in the batter, then using your tongs, flip bread over and place in pan. Easy and simple. One warning though: the bread gets soft so move fast. You don't want scrambled french toast. Enjoy a little more often!

Blind Pickin'

Somehow all my pictures that I put on are being put in backwards. This year Job and I got a permit to cut down a christmas tree. By the time we got up on the mountain it was pretty much dark and so we were unable to see all sides of the tree. We also don't have many ornaments, so here is what I call our "Charlie Brown" christmas tree set up in our house. All we have to put our tree on is our little blue car and we tied it down with only two bungie cords and some string (wrapped around a couple times of course).

Here is Job carrying down our tree. There was quite a bit of snow on the mountain, which made walking a little more difficult at night.
Job and our tree. Somehow it looked a lot better in the dark and on the mountain. Nonetheless, it is our tree and we love it.

Disneyland

Job and I went to Disneyland with all of his family on Thanksgiving Day. It was a lot of fun with all of the nieces and nephews. We didn't get too many pictures while there, but here a some cute ones. Above is Marley and Reindeer Pluto.

We got cookies at Santa's workshop and here is Aubrey and Heather. As you can see the green on Aubrey's face, she must have loved her cookie.
